Coin purses

I have been making a few (ahem!) coin purses recently. This is me finally getting around to posting them. Not that it takes me long at all.

I have tried to keep them different. I am not going to say what products etc I use because that would take forever. But if you have any questions just leave a comment and I will get back to you.

Thanks for looking
Apologies for the huge post! :-)

Blog hop June 2014

I have decided to mark the first day of my school holidays by taking part in the blog hop. I whipped up a quick card. I seem only to be able to make birthday cards at the moment! I need some new sentiments I think! :)

Anyway I kept things quite simple following the sketch on nicholes blog. I decided to add a butterfly as my embellishment in the middle and I fancied trying the vellum trend doing the rounds at the moment.

I love the rainbow look as well so I felt this card would suit it. Hey presto we have a small circular rainbow- ish look to the card. Add a few sequins and that's the card done

Thank you for visiting and I hope you have a fab day.

Make it Monday DIY notebook

This is such a cute make it Monday. I love home made gifts. They are so cute and thoughtful. They are a total pleasure to make.

Anyway. I wanted to go really bright on this cover. So I cut various widths of cardstock and stuck it on the front of the notebook front. I then die cut (in my new big shot woo hoo) and stamped images from be happy. I decided they looked a bit plain so I attacked them with a clear wink of Stella pen. Sooo pretty.

Inside are a bunch of mutli coloured pieces of cardstock. I wanted to keep the rainbow theme going :)

I am pleased as punch of my notebook. It's not going anywhere apart from next to my phone. I love love love it.

Thanks for visiting.

:)

New toy

I broke my cuttlebug on Tuesday. So after some advice I bought a big shot. It's so cute. And I have to say it cuts beautifully and is really smooth to use! I love, love, love it. I have added a pic of it. Please ignore my messy craft room. It needs a huge clean out.

Make it Monday 158

This
is my first ever attempt at a make it Monday project. I have decided to try and make more time for crafting. This is my first try at that. I have school holidays coming up so fingers crossed I can get lots of crafty time in then.

For the card I used gelato which were a gift and had yet to be tried until tonight. I saw a card from Michelle short at the Card Grotto which showed a card she had made using an a2 curved edge die. Since I didn't have that die I made my own version of an edge card.

Anyway thank you for visiting my wee blog.

Hugs.

Pti on Ebay

Hi folks. Just a wee heads up. I have decided to do a de stash as my craft room is literally bursting at the seams. So I have decided to thin out my pti goodies. I have chosen sets that I don't really use anymore.

So if anyone is interested in a previously loved set head on over to ebay and ou will find some fab goodies.

Big hugs.

SAF Sprinkled Salt

Again this was a new technique for me but I quite like how its turned out. This is something I will keep up my sleeve for quick cards in the future.

Lesley

SAF Quart Gallon Pint

This was a concept I found difficult to come up with an idea but I got there in the end. This card started off as the limited ingredients card but I lost my way and came up with this instead.

Lesley

SAF Sugar Coated

Who can resist glitter? Not me. I think I was a magpie in a former life :)
I love how this card came out. I think I am happy with the cards the less I think about them. SO that's a personal note for the future.

SAF Limited Project

This is my limited ingredients card. I have kept it quite plain and simple but then so many of my cards are like this so I shouldn't highlight this fact lol.

SAF Mist Mix Up

Ok I haven't misted it very well! But hey I made my own mist woo hoo. This is another first for me. This is my first Stamp A Faire and I have used many new techniques. Its been such fun.

Lesley

SAF Scentsational card

OMG  am in love with this new stamping technique. I absolutely adore the effect and the result is just amazing. If I can get my finger out I plan to send out scented Christmas cards :)

SAF Rolled Dough

This is my attempt at the rolled dough technique. I loved how easy the delight clay was to work with. SO much fun and so easy to change the colour. Loving this!

Cant wait to play more.

SAF Tea Dyed Project

Here is my take on the tea dyed project from SAF. I dyed the muslin and felt using coffee which gave it a brown look. I found the tea was a bit redder which I didn't like as much.

Anyway I cut out lots of muslin flowers to make the larger flower. I also cut the leaves out of the coffee felt. :)

Enjoy

PTI Stamp a Faire Fresh from the oven

Here is my second project from SAF. I thought this cup was so cute it was perfect for a cute little barrette.

Stamp A Faire 2013 Bake and Take

This is my first post in over a year YIKES! I didn't realise its been that long. Hopefully this will be back to normal function.

Anyway back to the project. I used a sketch from PTI  below to make my card. You can see I haven't deviated very far from the sketch. I'm taking baby steps to get back into crafting. :)

SAF2013-Sketch-5

I used the colour scheme below. I had all the colours except winter wisteria - shock horror! I thought I had some. I have obviously been neglecting my PTI cardstock. This will need fixing lol. My poor bank account lol.
Color-Recipe-1
So Hello again folks.

Hope you like the project. :)

Tatty Teddy Cake

I made this cake last week for my friends youngest daughters christening. The cake was a toffee cake and it was covered with white chocolate ganache. it was then covered with grey fondant before being piped with fudge buttercream.

The cake tasted delicious and I got lots of amazing comments from people. It had been a while since I made a cake so I am very pleased with how it turned out.

I would love to hear what you think.

Papertrey Ink Day 8

I cut this heart out free hand as I dont own any heart dies or even stamps! Big Gasp!

SO I made do with making my own. I seem to be obsessed by butterflies at the moment. I adore the butterfly dreasm stamp set. It is just so versatile and gives a great look on a card.

The card measures 3 1/2 x 3 1/2.

PTI Day 6

I used sketch number 4 to base my card on. i kept it very close to the original sketch. I like the simplicity of the card but also the bold colour combo.

Can't wait to see tomorrow. Lx
