Bad Day

I had meant to post lots of items I had been crafting over the last week but today has been such a challenging day for my school I could not bring myself to blog properly.

I will try and add the things tomorrow.

Passion for Papertrey Challenge

When I find something I enjoy making I tend to stay on the same thing for a while - until I find my next obsession that it lol.

I used PTI papers this time. They are from the simply valentine set. So cute.

The stamp is everyday button bits. Ribbon is PTI

Now the question is can I bear to part with it lol? Or will I just admire it? Hmmm difficult choice.

Buzzy post it note holder

I made this to match my card. Just in case you didn't spot that! Ignore me I think I am in a funny mood tonight.

I'd like to be a buzzy, buzzy bee!

This was made by request. I was asked to make a thank you card from the schools spelling Bee club. So my mind immediately thought - bee card. Not great leap I grant you but hey thank goodness for small mercies lol.

I used mesh from chocolate coins to make the honeycomb look in front of the black. As is my new style I kept the card simple (like me lol)

Project Tuesday

Here is my version of this weeks challenge which is a tri fold card. I found this quite tricky but persevered and was happy with the result in the end.

I deliberately kept it quite simple. I used one of the inserts as a message. The other one could hold money or a cheque.

I got this idea from my many blog and YouTube searches. It is quick and easy to produce and looks just fab.

Post It Note Holders

I made loads of these when I was at a crop earlier today. I have to confess that I did not come up with this idea. It was my friend Fee's idea. I just used it and changed the punch.

It is such a cute idea. I absolutely love it.

I will post more of these when I get the post it notes to fill them.

Even more notebooks

These are the last notebooks I am going to make for a long time. Even I am fed up with them now lol.

I made this last batch for my craft fayre on Saturday. Hopefully people will like them enough to buy them.

New Fayre Goodies

I made the following projects for my upcoming craft fayre.

The note cards are packaged in a pack of 6 thank you cards. They are just under 4 x 4. They are just so cute with the matching label. Hopefully people will love them as much as I do.

The second project is a notebook. Thought it might be nice for those who want a shorter book? That's my reasoning behind it anyway.

Bookmarks

I made these for an upcoming craft fayre my school is holding. I am making notebooks, packs of note cards, these bookmarks and cards.

I have made these before but I used my nesties this time and I am happier about my circle and scallops.

I am going to make more - will keep you posted when they are done.

Soooooo Annoyed with myself

I went to the craft fayre at the SECC today. I got some adhesives etc but nothing really exciting.

I did however see a good deal on nestabilities and so I got 2 and a cutter while I was there. I got some chocs and then left.

When I was 10 minutes from home I realised I did not have the bag with the nesties and cutter in it. I must have left/dropped it in one of the halls. Grrrrrrrr

I phoned but no sign of it yet. I am keep my fingers crossed til tomorrow when I am going to call back. Hopefully it will be handed in. Although I am not holding my breath.

So sad and angry at the same time. Why was I not more careful?

Masculine Card

I am not very good at 'Guy' cards. A colleague at work turned 30 on Thursday so I decided to try and make a card for him. I kept things quite simple using my new PTI stamps. See if you can guess which ones!

I am pretty chuffed with how it turned out.

Hit Counter

Hi is anyone having problems with their hit counter? This is the 2nd time its gone missing then started back at one again. I was getting quite high and its all gone.

Does anyone know a reliable counter?

Little Notebook

I got my new PTI order in today. Yippeeeee. I was waiting patiently (NOT!!) for the Daily Designs set. I was so excited to have a play with this. I cut out my circles with my new nestabilities. Loving them too.

I decided on a purple and yellow colour scheme. These are my old Primary school colours. I think they are so bright and fresh together.

Papertrey March Challenge Dawns Colours

I made another notebook. This is my 7th. I have only added 1 of them to my blog so far. I will add the rest when I get the chance?

The colours were fresh snow, hibiscus burst, aqua mist and spring moss. I love how fresh these colours look together. I have not used my button stamp set for a while so I pulled it out and kept the design very simple. I have not got a sentiment on the front but I am ok with that.
