Passion for Papertrey Black and White Challenge

I have made versions of this before. This is stepping it up a gear as I have made a little folder for the pad . This finishes the project off. I also added a closure with my favourite purchase of the moment which is my velcro. Loving it.

This is made using all PTI products apart from the white cardstock. I have not yet managed to get my paws on any.

Anyway hope you enjoy.

Project Tuesday 23/2/10

I loved making this. I tried to be creative on this challenge. I am still all hyped up from being featured - go me lol.
I wanted to make something cheery in my favourite colours. This meant it had to be from my PTI stash. I absolutely love Raspberry Fizz - it is just a fizzy colour. I wanted to try and add other colour combinations to it. So I used my other two favourites - Ocean Tides and Aqua Mist. They compliment the pink so well.

I stamped the pink using polka dot II basics then embossed it using clear embossing powder. Then I added two strips of card round the pink. I cut out a tab in the pink and added Velcro to use that as a closure instead of ribbon.
I stamped a cute tree from my new SU set. It looks so cute in pink. I added two aqua mist pieces of card to the inside. I stamped my greeting onto ocean tides card.
There goes my project.
Hope you enjoy

First Ever Featured Stamper

Woo hoo I am SOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!

I looked at the new Project Tuesday Challenge this morning and I saw I was one of the featured stampers for this week. It is so pleasing to see my project on display for all to see.

A big cheesy grin is appearing on my face right now!

About time too but hopefully my mojo has returned.

I have made pizza boxes with matching cards before. My school is having a spring fayre and hopefully I will be able to take a stall. So trying to make as many cards etc as I can. I am also going to try and make some allsorts bangles.

If you want to know any of the dimensions used just drop me a wee message.

Cute little bag

I made this bag using a tutorial I found on paperpleasingideas.typepad.com

The tutorial is very easy to do. The result is very cute. I gave this one to my dad.

21st Card

This is a post which does exactly as it says on the tin.

A colleague from work asked me to make a card for her son who is going to be 21 soon. I am not very good at masculine cards so I have kept it really simple.

I cut the letters and numbers out on my cricut using the sesame street font. The main colour I used was turquoise because its my colleagues sons' favourite colour. I wanted to add something extra so I ran some silver card through my cuttelbug and it looks like metal.
Any questions about dimensions etc just ask. I will do my best to answer them.

Trendy Trees card 2

I am loving my new Trendy Trees Stamp Set. It is just so cute. I made this card for a friend at work. I also made a matching notebook but I forgot to take a pic of it - Doh!

Anyway I also love the vanilla cardstock. It is so much softer than the white.

Hope you enjoy the card.

Project Tuesday Challenge

I feel like I have not taken part in this challenge for such a long time. The pics are not great but until my phone software issues are resolved they are all I can do at the moment.

Anyway I got my new Su stamps in today. I used the trendy trees set for my front panel. I just adore this set. The trees are just so cute.

I kept the colours very soft and neutral apart from my New Leaf and Hibiscus burst layers. I think they break it up just a bit.

I am also going to try for my first DT. I adore this blog and would love to become part of the DT.

Fingers crossed.

Friends birthday card

I made this card using the same sketch as my challenge card I made for the Passion for Papertrey website. I cased this sketch from Nichole Heady from PTI. ~I love how it is a very simple sketch but also very cute.

I tried to use colours together that I would not normally use ie the pink and green. I love how bright and pretty they look together. Very fun.

Passion for Papertrey Challenge

I made this card ages ago but it has taken me this long to be able to upload pics back to my PC. Anyway its kinda sorted.

I made this using all PTI products. I cut the hearts using my cricut but the cardstock is PTI. I love this colour scheme of black and deep pink. They are just such a contrast they are fab together.

This is my first challenge in a while.

Hope you like it. :)

Update

Well I still have not managed to upload pics to my blog. I haven't worked out why my new pc does not like my itunes or phone. Any ideas are gratefully acccepted.

Have monday and tuesday off so hopefully will get it sorted then. If not sooner.

New Resolution

I am slightly (ahem) late making my resolutions this year. I have been a very bad blogger recently. I had lost my mojo and the blogging went out the window.

My new aim is to try and blog a little bit every day.

I have been trying to install my new pc but things are not going to plan. It doesn't seem to like my Itunes - aargh how will I get the new Glee songs? Waaaaaahhhhh. Ok I am over it lol. It also does not seem to like my phone software which is how I was getting my pics. Might have to go back to the camera! Hmm where is the software for that?

Anyway I made two cards tonight, they are both based on the same sketch. I have cased a sketch by Nichole Heady from Papertrey Ink. I will post one of the cards up on this post if I ever get my phone software to work. The other card I am going to use for the new Passion for Papertrey challenge. The theme this week is valentines. SO its hearts all the way with my card. Hopefully it will be up tomorrow.

Catch you all later.

Good enough to eat

This is some of the jewellery I made using some cute fimo beads I bought. They are for my schools fashion show next week. Some models will be wearing my stuff - how cool is that? :)
I am a wee bit unsure about them still. Could you please let me know what you think?

Thanks

Lesley
