Emma's Notebooks

I love Emma's blog. It is called Devotion to the Dream. She always has inspirational projects on it. Anyway to day she had a template for her notebook. I tried to make two tonight and they were super easy to do. I am waiting to get some notebooks which will fit in them. They are so cute. I have kept the outside of the notebook quite simple.

I highly recommend popping over to her blog.

Also its not too late to enter my blog candy. The more the merrier.

http://sugacatz.blogspot.com/2009/10/blog-candy.html this is the link for my blog candy. I don't know how to keep my blog candy post at the top of my postings. Hopefully some kind blogger out there can advise. Fingers crossed.

Have a fab day.

Passion for Papertrey Challenge

I am really late entering this one. I have had a busy week. Will try and get my butt in gear for next week.

I made this one as a sample for my Christmas cards this year. At the time I loved it but now I am not so sure. Hmm think I will need to have a bit of a play.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

BLOG CANDY

I am going to do my first ever blog candy. I am not doing this for any reason except that I picked up some bargains yesterday. So I thought I would get two of everything and do some candy. I might give the other set away at a later date.

So what do you have to do to win?

You simply have to make a comment to this post to be in with a chance of winning. Also if you become a follower you will get a second chance to win. So for two chances to win you make a comment and become a follower if you are not already. All my current followers will get two chances as well. I will automatically put your names into the draw. I would love it if you gave my blog post a mention to all your followers.

The draw will take place on Sunday 1st November.

Good luck.

Christmas Time, Mistletoe and Wine

I got this idea from the Craft Fair at the SECC yesterday. How cute is this? I made this one first but I find them a bit fiddly so I will stick to the one you will see in the next post.

I always take the easy road lol.

Stamp with us First Challenge

I have been really bad at posting so I made this a couple of days ago and have not yet posted it. I will also be adding it to the Stamp With Us gallery. So anyone interested can pop along there. It is really worth it.

I made this using SU papers which are now retired. I absolutely love them. They are just so pretty. The ribbon is SU real red. The card stock is Artichoke. I made the tube using acetate which I love.

As always I can't wait to hear what you think.

Hopefully this week will be a bit quieter.

Wedding Card

Its my third wedding of the year tomorrow. My cousin is getting married and so I made a card for him and his future wife. I knew I wanted to use Kraft cardstock but apart from that I was a bit stumped. I did want to use my new Poinsettia stamp set from PTI but wasn't sure how. So I stamped a band with the small flowers in fresh snow. It looks really pretty and I thought it would look nice at the bottom of the card. This meant I could round the corners - result! lol I added some nice PTI ribbon (of course - who else? )

All I needed was a sentiment. I don't have any wedding ones so I cut the word using my cricut and the Sesame Street font. I stamped the kraft letters with fresh snow to echo the border and I also added a wee bit of glitter!

I love it. Now over to all you lovely bloggers to let me know what you think.

Passion for Papertrey Challenge - Autumn

I made this card for the current Passion for Papertrey challenge. The theme is autumn. I paid great attention when I was outside so I could use the colour combination in my card. That was great until I started making the card and decided I wanted to use berry sorbet and chocolate. I am still trying to build up my stamps from PTI so I decided to be crafty and use a Christmas stamp. I think it has worked out well. I am also loving the fancy flourishes stamp. It makes cards look so pretty.

Anyway thanks for looking at my card. Hopefully I will hear what you all think.

Isn't she lovely

The she in the title is the lovely Emma from Devotion to the Dream. I won one of her giveaways. This is the first thing I have ever won and I so chuffed. The package came wrapped beautifully and was a joy to open. Emma has been uber generous with her giveaways. I can't believe how much I got.

She also made me a cute little card to go with my lovely new stash.
So thanks again Emma.

Project Tuesday 6th October 2009

I loved this project. I really enjoy the projects as they are always a good break for making cards. And you can use them to give wee gifts to friends which is always good.

I used my K&Co paper which I have been waiting for the right project. I love the flower paper. So I cut out one of the pink flowers and stickled it and made it into a belly band for my gift card holder.

I used my cricut to cut the happy birthday for inside the card.

Overall I think it is very cute.

can't wait to hear your comments.

Hi to all those lovely bloggers who are reading my blog. I recently made some crochet flowers and I got some really lovely comments back. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in buying some? If not can anyone give me any ideas where I can sell them.

I love making them but can never use that many flowers.

Oh I can try and get different colours if anyone would like special colours I will do my best to get the thread.

Hope to hear back from you all

Stamp with Us Challenge

I am just loving these boxes just now. Can't stop making them . I made this for the Stamp with Us challenge which was anything not a card. I used the tart and tangy stamp set. The green ink was my markers from Stampin up. The punch I used was the round tab punch. The border was cut with my martha stewart punch. The circle and scallop were cut with my cricut.

Hope you like it.

Can't to hear what you all think.
