PTI Blog Hop Embroidery Floss

I kept this simple cause I have not used floss in my projects before. I also did this at the last minute so didn't have much time to come up with anything.

I am pleased with the outcome but will def be looking for inspiration from the Blog Hop.

Thanks for taking the time to look at my project.

Big hugs

Make it Monday Copic Challenge Take 2

This is my second attempt using my copics this week. I warn you I have loads more images coloured. So watch out for the monochromatic colouring.

Its probably going to take a while to get all the cards done! But hey I will have fun doing it.

Make it Monday Copic Challenge

I cut out a few of my die cut images using aqua mist and Hawaiian shores and the got my copic trio out and got colouring.

I really enjoyed sitting colouring in. I found this much easier thank using white cardstock. Also after Jennifer's tutorial I kinda of got how to use my copics better. Thanks Jennifer. :)

I cut some PTI patterned paper into a star burst pattern. I am pleased with the result which is totally different from my normal style. I think a change is good sometimes.

Thank you Card Set

I reproduced the same card in different colours. This would be great to give as a small gift. I am going to package some up in my Folksy shop when I get the chance.

I am also going to put some felt and fabric flowers up there sometime soon.

Felt Flower

I took the notion to make some of these after seeign them on NIchole's blog last month.

I love how easy they are to make yet they look spectacular. I adore the new royal velvet colour. Especially when it is twinned with either spring moss or simply chartruese. Sigh so cute.

I added some felt buttons and finished the flower with a cute bow.
I have made more of these and I love them all. I just need to take photos of htem and then get them posted. Shouldn't be too difficult.
I now have lots of ideas for other brooches. I am going to go to a local-ish fabric shop tomorrow to get some fabric for my flowers.

Passion for Papertrey Challenge

The Challenge for Passion for Papertrey this time is Paper Piecing.

I pulled out my up, up and away stamp set. I have never used the cute little kite so I decided the time had come to put it to use.

I stamped it three times on my white cardstock. I then stamped the sun in the top corner.
I found three pieces of coloured paper which had some form of yellow in it to mirror the sun. I also wanted to do a bright spring-y type card. So I found some in a Little Yellow Bicycle Stack I had. I stamped the kites onto the paper and cut out the kite from all three bits of paper.
I stuck these onto the stamped images on the white cardstock. I used the lightest of my tie die duo to stamp some clouds. I added a sentiment and then 3 buttons to my card.

Make it Monday Impression Plate

This is my version of the Make it Monday Challenge over at Papertrey Ink. I love this technique. I think the blank cardstock in the middle of the impression looks amazing.

I used my 1 and only PTI impression plate. I put my mat stack 4 on top and ran everything through my cuttlebug. I had to add a little bit extra shim to it cause of the die on top of the impression plate. Second time of putting it through it was fab.
I then added my delightful doily die cut and a sentiment and a butterfly and I was almost done.
I added some gems under the sentiment and then a bit of faux stitching and I was satisfied with the result.
Good luck to all involved.
