Xmas Gift Bags

I made these cute bags to put some xmas sweets in. I got the papers from the last chance list from Stampin up. The paper is great, fab patterns. I have not put ribbons in the two bigger boxes yet. I was in a rush to get this posted today as it is my last Septmember post.

Can't wait to hear what you all think.

Project Tuesday Smores gift

I loved this project. Its my two favourite things. Baking and crafting. Fabulous! Even better cause I don't have any mess to clear up. I think this is a totally unique gift to give instead of all the usual sweets.

I used my cricut to cut my fabby bats and tag envelope. I just got my tab punch in today so I wanted to try it out so made a tag with the punch and my recipe instructions. So cool lol. At least I impress myself :)

Now is the hard part I need to decide who to give it to. This will be the difficult bit. Can I bear to part with it?

Love to hear what you think.

Passion for Papertrey Challenge Birthday card

I still have limited PTI goodies. I am waiting for an order which has my Christmas stuff in it. So until then I am getting loads of use out of my Kraft card and Everyday button bits stamp set. I adore what I have because it make creating projects so easy.

I am not totally happy with this card. It was a late night thing so it is a bit thrown together. Still at least I made an effort to enter this challenge.
Must be the lure of PTI goodies which makes it more attractive lol.
Can't wait to hear what you think.

Cute Triangle Halloween Boxes

I made these super easy boxes using an easy tutorial from Splitcoast stampers. Basically the cardstock is 4" x 8". You can change the sizes for whatever you want. Just make sure that the width is half the length. Then you score the cardstock in the middle of the longest edge. On the short edges mark the middle point. From the middle point score a line from the middle to the edge of the middle line. You should be aiming to make a diamond fold.

I am really bad at explaining. If you search for triangle box on splitcoast you will find the easy tutorial.

I found these cute images on my hello kitty cart. I have not used this in ages. They are just so cute. I love them. I stuck them on with dimensionals. I added black stickles to my bat.

hope you like them.

I would love to see what you all do with these boxes. If you make one could you leave a message in the comments and I will come take a look.

FAME

I wanna live forever! I wanna learn how to fly.... etc etc etc

Well I went to see the film tonight expecting a big hit of nostalgia of leg warmers, Leroy etc. Sadly it was not to be. The film is not a patch on the original. Not because the actors are bad but because they missed out the Fame street dance - Iconic how could they do that?

They also tried to cram too much in making the story line really weak. So while I enjoyed it I was so disappointed in it. Will just need to buy the old one - the hardships lol.

Would love to hear if anyone else has seen it! See if anyone else agrees or disagrees. Maybe I am just a grump!

Anyway have a great week. I have a day off tomorrow. I LOVE my job lol

Sugar Bowl Challenge

I made this card using one of my Gorjuss Girls Stamps. I used paper I got from the lovely Stephanie from stamping and sharing. I have been trying to add this to a project for ages. I have finally managed. I matched it up with my PTI paper and I am pleased with the result. It is bright and cheerful and is a great addition to my birthday card collection.

Can't wait to hear any comments!

Where have all the flowers gone?

Here are my lovely little crochet flowers. I have been a bad blogger this week. I have been super busy and not had the chance to do many cards. Boo hoo. But I did get my crochet yarn in on Saturday which means I could make some flowers.

I think the colours are so cute. I am definitely going to expand my colours.

Emma - can you email me your snail address so I can post your lovely white beauties to you.

Anyway I hope you like them as much as I do. I would love to hear what you think of them.

Project Tuesday Birthday Book

I made this birthday book for my friend. I have left the inside very plain and the outside is decorated very simply too. I am quite pleased with the result. This was not my favourite Project Tuesday but I am glad I gave it a go.

I would love to hear your views.

Sugar Bowl

I made this card for the Sugar Bowl. I was not in a copic frame of mind so stamped the custard image which i don't need to colour phew. I used Stampin Up cardstock ans designer paper. The buttons are Papertrey Ink as is the chocolate ribbon.

The sentiment has not shown up cause its in the same colour as the card. It says dreams realy do come true.

I changed the flower as I crocheted one earlier which I think looks so cute.

Hope you enjoy, Hugs Lesleyx

I made this using the DCWV Green Stack. It is a very simple card but I love it. I got the idea from a fab video tutorial on YouTube. If you search for starofmay you will find some fab card making tutorials.
Anyway I hope you like the card.

Passion for Papertrey Cherished Colours

I decided to keep my CAS theme going this week. I am loving the PTI craft card stock because it sets off the cards brilliantly. I am definitely going to order it again. Although this time I will get more lol.
I chose berry sorbet as my colour since out of my 4 colours I have it is definitely my fave.
The stamp set was everyday button bits. The ribbon is PTI twill tape. The buttons are PTI berry sorbet. The card stock is - yep you guessed it berry sorbet by PTI. The DP is bitty baby blessings from PTI.
So apart from the ink and white gel pen this is a totally PTI card. I am so hooked on their stuff I love it.
Can't wait to hear what you think.

Yet more PTI cards

Here are two mini PTI cards I made. I am trying to ration my craft card stock cause I love it but it will be a wee while til I get some more. I used my favourite stamp set - Everyday button bits and also tried using my other PTI stamp - cupcake. I also tried a bit of faux stitching - I was feeling brave and I am actually very impressed with it.

Hope you enjoy these cards as much as I enjoyed making them.

Friday Sketchers

I used some more of my PTI ink supplies to make this card. I just love the colours of the cardstock, ribbon and ink.

I coloured my Sugar Nellie Lion stamp with my copics. I so need to find out how to colour properly! I love this image, he is just so cute.
I have left this card quite simple cause I am still on my simple card quest. Its just so much easier.
hope you like. Lesley
