Friday sketchers Challenge

I made this card for the Friday Sketchers Challenge. I have not done the challenge for a while so thought I would give it another go. I also made my first Christmas card of the year. Will need to crack on with these soon. I used my mini monograms to cut the circle and scallop out. The stamp is Sugar Nellie. The paper comes from a Christmas paper stack I have. The ribbon was from my stash. The flowers were also from my stash. The sparkly dots were from my stash too. They don't show up that well cause its red on red.
Would love to hear what you think of it.

Another post it note holder

This one is for another colleague. I used my new mini monograms cart to do the circles and scallops. Also cut the g as well. Decided to go ultra colourful for this one! Bring on the shades. lol.
Note to Emma, Finally added the inside view. Hope it was worth the wait! Lesley

My Cats

This is a picture of my 3 cats. Two are Siamese and the other 1 is a Balinese. The Siamese are Chico and Lily who are 3 in December and are also brother and sister. Molly will be two in December and is from Wales.

This first picture is of the cats on my bed. Unmade but it was such a cute pic I could not disturb them. My excuse lol! Lily is the one on the right (she is just about to yawn she is actually a very pretty cat normally). Chico is the one at the back. He is the biggest of the 3 but is a big softie. Molly is the one on the right - she is the boss of the three.

Lily is making another face in this picture. She looks like she is pretending to be a pirate. Chico is pretending to be shy - don't be fooled.

This is just a cute pic. They are all so cute lying together. Although Molly looks like she is wondering what on earth is going on.

So these are the trouble makers of the house. They like to charge around the house when I am trying to get to sleep.

Banana and Choc Chip Muffins

I had some bananas which had gone brown very quickly. I saw this on a fab blog written by Angie. http://www.overthekitchencounter.com/over_the_kitchen_counter_/

She has the best cooking and baking videos. I found this recipe very easy to follow and the results very yummy. There were 12 to start with but my dad had to try two just to make sure the first taste was right lol. So thank you Angie these were fab.

Post it Note Holder

This is a project I made for a work colleague. The L is for her surname. I decided to try another 3D project cause I am completely hooked on them just now. This was super, super easy and I would recommend trying it.
It came out looking very professional and hopefully my colleague will love it.

Project Tuesday

This weeks challenge is to make a pull out treat. I am loving these 3D projects. I got my inspiration fromt he tag which I got from Craftwork Cards. I then foudn some matching paper, added the co=ordinating paper round the middle. Stamped and coloured in my little owl and cut two scallops circles with my cricut. The flower came from my stash - they are Prima but not sure what they are called.
The chocolate inside is galaxy - my fave. Yum. Will need to give this away pretty quick or I will eat it myself.

Note card Set

This was my first attempt at another Papertrey Template. I have a problem because my printer will not print cardstock. So I have to make my own template using the measurements. I had to meddle with this one anyway cause my envelopes would not have fitted if I hadn't.
I used Stampin up green galore and pixie pink. I also used the basic black from SU. The design paper is from my K & Co Berry Sweet Stack ( big surprise since I have used it non stop - will need to get another one). The strawberries also came from my Hello Kitty cart and cut on my cricut. The ribbon was SU but don't know its name as my demonstrator gave me it as a gift. The circle and scallop were both cut on the cricut using accents essentials. I embossed the pink and green of the folder and black of the cards with my Swiss dots cuttlebug folder. The cards were made with card from the papermill I got on Friday last week. So glad I bought it saves my Su papers for the important stuff.
Anyway that's how it ended up. I am pleased with it. Would love to hear what you thought of it.

Passion for Papertrey

Thsi is my first post for A Passion for Paper Trey Ink. I Just found this blog. So glad I did. I downloaded the template for the picnic basket from paper trey ink website. I don't have any products from paper trey yet so I used cardstock from my stash. The patterned paper is from my K & Co berry stack. The strawberry came from my hello kitty cricut cartridge (my fave).

Dino Party Cards

These are cards from my new stamp set Dino Party by Penny Black. I am loving them. I used my cuttlebug to emboss the plain paper. I wiped my stazon opaque pad over the dots. I cut the circle and scallop with my cricut (accents Essentials cart). I coloured my images with my copic markers. I didn't shade cause I am not good at it. I am chuffed with the results of the cards. They are very simple cards but I like them for that.

The first card is for a baby Girl. No surprises that it is pink! :)
The second card is for a girl again although I suppose it doesn't have to be cause it's lilac? I would still give it for a baby girl.

The next one is my baby boy card. Traditional blue but it works so why change it. :)

This is using a scrap off my K & Co Stack. It gave me my colour scheme of green and pink. I love the colour clash of these two colours.

Last card is a different stamp from the same set. He is looking at a cute spider (did i just type the words cute and spider in the same sentence? Hmm doesn't sound right!) Anyway this spider is cute. Didn't think this card needed a saying on it.
Anyway long past my bed time. TTFN

New Stamp Set

Got myself another new stamp set today. This one is called Dino Party and is a set from Penny Black and they are clear stamps. They are so cute. I have included pictures but they are a bit blurry to say the least. I am going to post some cards I made with the stamps which should make it easier to see.

I have also bought some card stock from Paper Mill which is exactly right for making a card 51/2 by 4/14. No need to cut - just fold. So easy and I can save my Stampin Up paper. Even Better. I tried to choose colours I liked and thought I had paper to match.

Gift Card Holder

I saw a tutorial for this on www.chicnscratch.typepad.com . It is very easy and funt o make. I used Brilliant Blue, Whispoer White and Certainly celery all from stamping up. I used a piece of designer paper which is from my stash. I added a pice of blue ribbon from my stash. The images came from a clear stamp set called Daisy and Dandelion ( I think). I also stamped the bottom part of the holder with stazon opaque ink and the same stamp set.
I am chuffed how this turned out.

Snap out of it Sunday

Bit late doing the challenge this week. Better late than never I guess. I forgot I had this stamp. Or rather didn't know what to do with it. I was using the owl paper for another project - the other side is red. I remembered the owl stamp and thought the paper would look super cute with the stamp. I tried to colour with copics but I find it very challenging. So i used my watercolour pencils instead. I am happy with the outcome.

Stamp With Us

This is my first ever Stamp With Us post. I have just got some Stampin Up haul yesterday. I am just starting out to see what I like. I decided to go with the colours and made a tea bag holder. Although I have not actually decided what to put in it yet.
Recipe:
Stampin Up - Brilliant Blue Paper, Yo Yo Yellow Paper.
K & Co - Sweet berry paper stack.
Ribbon - from my stash.
Stamp - free stamp from Craft Stamper Magazine

Hope to add more and more stampin up materials til i can do complete stampin up projects.

Project Tuesday

This is my first entry for the Project Tuesday Challenge. I think I am going to love this challenge cause we get to make things instead of a card. I have made this sour cream container before so I thought I would try and do something slightly different. So I made it out of acetate. I am so chuffed with the result. It is just so cute.
It is going to be given to a teaching friend who fractured her foot. Hopefully this should cheer her up.
Thanks for looking.

New Cartridge - Sesame Street Font

I love this font. The actual font is great but what is even better are the images. I made the project in the guide. I think it is just so cute. I am going to give it to my cousins son. Iti s his birthday soon. Perfect for a little boy.
The other card is one i made using my favourite Hello Kitty cartridge. I have been trying to fin an excuse to try the cherry. So cute.

Sentiment Stamp Set

I bought myself a sentiment stamped set. The set is clear acrylic which I have taken from the packaging and put inside a cd case. I saw this on my favourite blog - The Pink Stamper. I completely agree with her. It is much less packaging and you can put the stamp against your card to decide if you like it or not. So its two thumbs up for this method of stamp storage. I will slowly convert all of my stamps this way.

Snap out of it Sunday 12/7/09

This is my take on the sketch by the new sketch challenge blog on stampin right. I abseolutely love this sketch and was very excited to have a go.

I used K & Co Berry Sweet Papers. I used a sentiment from a clear stamp set I have (can't remember what its called). The strawberry was cut with my cricut using my favourite cartridge Hello Kitty. I added a ribbon cause they are my addiction at the moment. I never used to know what to do with ribbon but I absolutely adore them now.

Thanks for looking and adding a comment. They make me smile. :)

Sketch Saturday 4th July

here is my interpretation of the sketch. I have gone for an American vibe although I just used the papers I had in my craft room. I was shocked to find out I had so much paper. Whoops.

Anyway I hope you like it. I have used a Gorjuss stamp. Using my cricut I have made little stars in red, white and blue. To finish is off my favourite thing - BLING! :)

Thanks for checking out my card. Hugs. Lx
