Project Tuesday

This is my first entry for the Project Tuesday Challenge. I think I am going to love this challenge cause we get to make things instead of a card. I have made this sour cream container before so I thought I would try and do something slightly different. So I made it out of acetate. I am so chuffed with the result. It is just so cute.
It is going to be given to a teaching friend who fractured her foot. Hopefully this should cheer her up.
Thanks for looking.

  1. I haven't made mine yet, was just looking at the samples, yours is really neat, I don't know how I can make mine different yet, cause just about every style was covered. Oh well, that's the challenge, LOL!

  2. Lesley, I love your idea of using acetate! It turned out great! Thanks for joining us at Stamps and Smiles Project Tuesday!!!

  3. Lesley, this is gorgeous. I am deffinitely going to try making one with acetate now!!

  4. I didn't see an email anywhere, mine is granybg@yahoo.com
This was one of the first stamps I got in 2006,so I don't know if you'll be able to find it, it's Hero Arts-H1280 Silly Pumpkin Border.
Love your background on your blog.

  5. I LOVE making sour cream containers (I posted mine in a really early blog post - you can see it here if interested): http://www.overthekitchencounter.com/over_the_kitchen_counter_/2009/04/sour-cream-containers.html
I think they are sooo cute to give as gifts and you can decorate them so many ways. Great idea using the acetate, Lesley! tfs!

  6. Umm yummy! LOVE this Lesley, how fun you used a clear sheet to see the fun goodies inside! Your detail is so pretty too!

Thanks for playing along with Stamps and Smiles - Project Tuesday!

    Hugs, Jennifer :)
